Sudonna Gross, 72 of Madison passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at her home.
Mrs. Gross was born on August 7, 1943 in Madison, IN the daughter of Herbert L. and Bertha E. Niccum Graves. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, gardening, working with her flowers and in her yard, but was blessed with the opportunity to take care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Robert L. Gross; daughters, Karen Boyd and her husband William of Madison and Mary Arizo of Hawaii; sisters, Dorothy Craig of Madison and Patricia Heveline of Milton, KY; brother, Larry Graves of Madison; grandchildren, Jeffrey Rector and wife Shannon and Will Boyd; great-grandchildren, Aslyn, Brooklynn, Hannah, Rylee, Kiarra, Leila-Kai, Jayson, Kaya Lynn. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Laura Jones, Virginia Reeves, Barbara Ann Shiphorst; brothers, George, Noble and Charles Graves; grandchildren, Robert Kai Martinez and Rachael Leilani Arizo.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Hanover with burial in the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison. Visitation will be held on Monday from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday until time of services. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mrs. Gross may take the form of donations to the Madison Salvation Army.
