Steve was born Feb. 14, 1958 to Wade and Mary Griffin Holmes in Clark County, IN. He was a member of the Pleasant View Baptist Church and Ironworkers Local # 70. He is survived by his daughter, Misty Holmes-Wise; a step daughter, April Simpson; father, Wade Holmes; brothers, Chris, Larry and Gary Holmes; and two grandchildren Austin and Nicholas Sanders.
