Stephen Eric Fischer

Stephen Eric Fischer 62, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Tuesday July 16, 2019 at University of Louisville Hospital.

Stephen was born on May 1, 1957 in Owensboro, KY to Joseph Mark and Agnes Jean Johnson Fischer.  He attended Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Charlestown and was an engineer for Paco Manufacturing in Jeffersonville, IN and a member of the Clark County Conservation Club.  He was preceded in death by his mother and brother Robert Kevin Fischer.

Survivors include his wife, Rita Fischer; step daughters, Jennifer Knight (Jonathan) of Shepherdsville, KY and Stephanie Rush (Austin) of Martinsville, IN; father and step-mother, Joseph Mark and Bettye Fischer of Owensboro, KY; brother, Keith Fischer (Benita) of Charlestown; sister, Cara Whalen (Dave) of Charlestown, grandchildren, Calvin Knight and Coleson Rush.

A Life Celebration service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday August 3, 2019 at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Charlestown.
