Stanley Lane McElya, 59 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.
Stanley was born on January 28, 1960 in Paducah, KY the son of Clifton and Relda Wren McElya. He worked as a Machine Operator at Olon Industries in Jeffersonville, IN. Stanley was a member of St. Louis Bertrand Catholic Church in Louisville, KY and had many interest and memories especially being raised on his family’s farm along the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers in Paducah, KY.
Stanley’s family includes his wife Catherine Thorpe McElya of Charlestown; son, David Earl McElya of Paducah, KY; step-son, John Pace, of Lebanon Junction, KY.
Cremation was chosen with no formal services.
