Stanley Ray Jones

Stanley R. Jones 75 of Charlestown, IN passed away Monday November 6, 2023, at Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on August 7, 1948, in London, KY to Raymond and Alice Moberly Jones.  Stanley had worked in the lumber retail business for several years, was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War, attended Southeast Christian Church and loved watching movies, going to church and spending time with his family and friends.

Stanley is survived by his wife of 55 years having married Linda Reeves Jones on August 31, 1968; sons, Bart and his wife, Kathy of Pee Wee Valley, KY, Brad Jones and his wife, Brooke of Charlestown, sister, Judy Jones of Nicholasville, KY; grandchildren, Kelsey, Abigail, Jaime, Austin, Aubrey, Samantha, Sierra, Savannah, Selena and Diego; great grandchildren, Aiden and Sophia.

Cremation was chosen and a Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, December 9, 2023, at Chapel in the Woods, 1407 Moser Road, Louisville, KY 40299.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 11:00 am the time of the service.
