Sharon Rose (Lanham) Wentworth

Sharon Rose Wentworth, 83 of Marysville, IN. passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.

She was born on December 24, 1939, in Madison, IN to Robert McKinley and Alma Lawrence Lanham.

Sharon was a true caregiver at heart, providing care for many in her family. She enjoyed flower gardening, square dancing, and being outdoors enjoying the sunshine and fresh air.  She was the greatest definition of “as tough as nails”.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, James Edward Wentworth; her daughter, Deborah Sue Waters; son, Scott Edward Wentworth; and her siblings, Juanita, George, Loretta, and Donnie.

Sharon is survived by her son, Michael Wentworth, and his wife, Connie; sister, Karen Ann Lanham; grandchildren, Tiffany Wallace and her husband Mike, Heather Wibbels, Christopher Waters and his wife Angel; and her great-grandchildren, Anessa, Sam, and Layla.

Cremation was Sharon’s wish.  There will be no services.
