Sharla R. (Davis) Hostetler

Sharla Hostetler passed away peacefully at her home in New Washington, Indiana, on March 13, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on May 29, 1962, Sharla was a cherished member of her community and loved deeply by her family.

Sharla was a devoted wife to her husband, Randy Hostetler, and a loving mother to her son, Ryan Hostetler (Jennifer). She was an adored grandmother to Easton, Ava, Luke, Dalton, and Hunter. Her family was her pride and joy, and she loved them unconditionally.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley and Raymond Davis, her brother and sister-in-law Charlie and Sandy Davis, and her nephew Joey.

Sharla was known for her witty and caring personality. She embraced life with enthusiasm, which was evident in her hobbies. Sharla enjoyed gardening, working on the farm, and an occasional good night at the casino.

A Life Celebration Service will be at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington.  Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

In honor of her memory, the family requests that instead of flowers, contributions be made to Amedysis Hospice, in gratitude for the exceptional care they provided to Sharla.
