Selene Kay (Siders) Lowe

Selene Kay Siders Lowe of Charlestown, IN passed away with her family by her side on Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN.

Mrs. Lowe was born on August 24, 1946, in Shelby County, IN the daughter of Rev. Wayland Eugene and Maude Pope Siders. She worked for 30 plus years on the Clark Counties Bookmobile and was fondly known as the “Bookmobile Lady”. Selene Kay was a believer in Christ, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a great friend to many. She enjoyed gardening and loved to host parties and get togethers with friends and family.

Survivors include her husband Garnett Lowe III “Gregg” whom she met when her father was the Pastor at the Charlestown United Methodist Church; daughter, Heather Duncan and her husband Jeremy of Charlestown; son Garnett Lowe IV “Grant” and his wife Melinda of Charlestown, IN; sister, Nedra Rodenberg of Ft. Branch, IN; grandchildren, Natalie(Patrick), Avery, Emerson, and Rhys. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Danette Follett; brother, Layden Siders.

Life Celebration Memorial Gathering will take place on Saturday, February 4, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN.
