Savannah Marie Starr Palmer, 16 of Lexington, IN passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016 at her home.
Savannah was born on March 3, 2000 in Madison, IN the daughter of Mary and Alfred Palmer. She was a Junior at Southwestern High School a member of Chelsea Church of God and loved playing tennis and basketball.
Survivors include her parents, Mary and Alfred Palmer of Lexington, IN; sisters, Rebecca Palmer of Madison, Maryland Palmer of Lexington, IN and April Beswick of Scottsburg, IN; brothers, Richard Christley and his wife Vanessa of Hanover, IN, Kenneth Palmer of Lexington and Brandon Beswick of Scottsburg, IN; grandparents, Winnie Lou and Charles Slinker of New Washington, IN and Ruby Sweet of Scottsburg, IN; several aunts, uncles and cousins. Savannah was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Irven Sweet Sr. and Alfred Andrew Palmer Sr.; her uncle Irven Sweet Jr.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lexington Christian Church in Lexington, IN. Visitation will begin at 9:00 A.M. Wednesday until time of service at the Church. Expressions of sympathy may take the form in memory of Savannah to her family in care of Grayson Funeral Home. Grayson Funeral Home in Hanover is entrusted with the arrangements.
