Saundra Pauline Nifong, 57, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Clark Memorial Hospital.
She was born on January 12, 1954, the daughter of James and Shirley Hooper Duddy. She was a homemaker and a member of the Park Street Church of Christ in Charlestown.
Survivors include her daughter, Clarrisa S. Nifong(Chris), Georgetown, KY; sons, William Nifong(Julie), Jeffersonville and Leslie C. Nifong(Rebecca), New Albany; mother, Shirley Armstrong, Leitchfield, KY; sister, Marilyn Greenwell, Jeffersonville; brother, Jim Duddy, Shepherdsville, KY; grandchildren, Andrew and Kayla Nifong, Kaitlyn and Abigail Johnson, nieces; Kristen Johnson, Brittney Bowling and Samantha Duddy, nephew, Devon Duddy and James Duddy, Jr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leslie A. Nifong, father James Duddy and sister Laurie Florence.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery in New Washington. Visitation will be held on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. and after 10 a.m. on Tuesday.
