Sarah Elizabeth Farmer Ferreira, 79, died Sunday January 29, 2012 at Hickory Creek Nursing Home in Scottsburg, IN.
She was born on November 29, 1932 in Owenton, KY to Jesse and Hattie Perkins Chapman. She was a former chef and a Pentecostal.
Survivors include her sons, Danny and Alvie Farmer both of Charlestown, Michael Farmer of Goodlettsville, TN and David Farmer of Florida, 14 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb3, 2012 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Owen Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10 a.m. on Friday.
