Sarah A. Cox, 85 formerly of Hanover passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN.
Sarah was born June 28, 1929 in Marion County, KY the daughter of James A. and Jennie L. Glascock Myers. She was retired after working several years at the Hanover Health and Rehabilitation Center and was a member of the Main Cross Baptist Church in Charlestown, IN.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews including, Steve Myers(Sue) of Charlestown, IN, Mary Jo Cain(John) of Marysville, IN, Randall Myers of Jeffersonville, IN, Anita Falls(H. B.) of Springfield, MO and Phyllis Nevitt(Tommy) of Louisville, KY. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Henry Cox; brothers, Leonard, J. W. and Lee Myers.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Hanover with burial in Grandview Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Saturday beginning at 11:00 A.M. until time of the services. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Sarah may take the form of donations to Choices for Women in Madison, IN.
