Sara A. Nighbert, 94, of Mooresville, IN and formerly of Plainfield, passed away October, 26, 2013. She was born May 25, 1919, in Jefferson County Indiana to Dallas and Bessie Noell.
Sara was a homemaker and had worked at McCrackens Answering Service for Indiana National Bank. She was a member of Plainfield Christian Church in Plainfield, Indiana.
Sara is preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Olive Dyan Nighbert; and 5 siblings.
Survivors include her husband, Sidney Lee Nighbert; children, Judy (Jim) Newman, Alta Linthicum, Russell (Barbara) Nighbert and Noell (Blee) Nighbert; one brother, Jesse B. Noell; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 30, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00a.m. at Grayson Funeral Home in Hanover.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at New Bethel Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
The family requests that donations be made to New Bethel Cemetery instead of flowers.
