Mrs. Abbott passed away on Wednesday October 21, 2009 at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, KY.
She was born on December 13, 1963 in Madison, Indiana the daughter of Robert and Gladys Abbott. Mrs. Abbott was a Certified Nursing and Qualified Nursing Assistant at St. Catherine Regional Hospital in Charlestown.
She is survived by her husband, Allen Sands, Charlestown; three brothers, Roger Fisher, Hibernia, Gordon Fisher, New Albany and Robbie Abbott, Charlestown; two sisters, Dixie Lee Riley, Jeffersonville and Brenda Faye Collins, New Washington. She was preceded by her parents and brother Drew Adam Fisher.
