Ruth Elizabeth (Montgomery) Reed

Ruth Elizabeth Reed, 101 of New Washington, IN passed away on Thursday October 24, 2019 at her home.

She was born on November 16, 1917 in Stark County, IL to Arley Cavin Montgomery and Myra May Weaver Montgomery.  She was a homemaker and member of the Paynesville Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Reed, JR; son, Kenneth A. Reed, Sr; daughter, Pamela A. Boling and 3 great grandchildren.

Survivors include her grandchildren, Fred Boling (Sandy) of New Washington, Pam Bowen (Alan Sr.) of New Washington, Ruthie Lewellen (Joe) of New Washington and Kenny Reed, Jr (Pam) of Marysville, IN; great grandchildren, Alan Bowen, III, Savana Lewellen, Jo Lewellen, Shannon Clark and Chrissy Clark; great great grandchild, Able Bowen; daughter-in-law, Linda Reed of Charlestown, IN and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 6 pm on Wednesday October 30, 2019 at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington.  Visitation will be from 4 pm to 6 pm on Wednesday.

Expression of sympathy made be made to the funeral home to help with the expenses.
