Ruth M. (Wolfe) Missi

Ruth M. Missi, 99 of Memphis, IN passed away peacefully on Monday, August 17, 2020 at her home.

Ruth was born on July 31, 1921 in Floyd County, IN the daughter of Clarence W. and Josephine Toby Wolfe. She was a member of the St John Paul II Catholic Church in Sellersburg, IN. Ruth was a devoted Catholic, loving wife, mother, and homemaker. She had a beautiful happy spirit and will be greatly missed by her family and all that knew her.

Ruth is survived by her, daughter Helen Petry and her husband Jeff of Xenia, OH; sons, Gary Missi of Memphis, IN, Stephen Missi and his wife Marvena of Sellersburg, IN, Tim Missi and his wife Hyesun of O’Fallon, IL, David Missi and his wife Janeen of Maiden, NC; sisters, Esther Book and Mary Rosenberger both of Starlight, IN; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. She was preceeded in death by her parents, husband of 54 years, John Edward Missi; daughter, Gloria Haydon; sisters, Dorothy Fischer, and Bertha Trindeitmer; brothers, Irvin and Leo Wolfe.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 at 1:30 P.M. at St. John Paul II Catholic Church, 216 Schellers Ave, Sellersburg, IN with burial in St. Michael Cemetery in Charlestown, IN. Visitation will begin on Thursday at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. and again on Friday from 10:00 A.M to 12:30 P.M. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John Paul II Catholic Church building fund. The family would especially like to thank Anna from Kindred Hospice and Cassie from Home Instead as well as everyone involved with the loving care, they provided our mother.
