Ruth Marie (Harris) Haycraft

Ruth Marie Haycraft, 80 of Lexington, IN passed away on Monday July 12, 2021, at her home.

She was born on August 8, 1940, in New Albany, IN to Renard and Mable Herthell Harris, Sr.  Ruth was a loving housewife and mother and enjoyed spending time in her garden.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Haycraft, daughter, Evelyn Miller, sister, Edith Weathers-Logsdon and brothers Phillip Harris and Irvin Harris.

She is survived by her daughters, Diana Fugate and her husband Skip of Lexington and Joanie Hall and her husband Kris of Clarksville, IN, son-in-law, Bruce Miller of Lexington; brothers, Bernard Harris of Jeffersonville, IN and Renard G. Harris, Jr of Corydon, IN; sister Rosalyn Weinbrenner of Clarksville; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 pm on Thursday July 15, 2021, at Grayson Funeral Home with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Thursday.
