Ruth Ann Roberts Allen, 72 of Clarksville, IN passed away on February 28, 2017 in Jeffersonville, IN.
She was born on August 25, 1944 in Bethlehem, IN to Cecil and Sally Pearl Newton Roberts. Ruth Ann worked at the Charlestown Powder Plant, and as an aide monitor at Jeffersonville High School. She attended Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Charlestown, IN and also was an avid sale shopper and bargain hunter especially at Kohl’s.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Ray, Kenneth “Monk”, and Delbert Roberts.
She is survived by her husband, Quentin Allen; sons, Chad Allen (Kim) of Georgetown, IN and Kevin Jones of Jeffersonville, IN; brother, Glen Roberts of Sellersburg, IN; grandchildren, Trevor, Trent, Amanda, Morgan, Kevyn, and Sydney; great grandchildren, Titus and Adeline, and her best friend Sue McIntyre.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday March 4, 2017 at 12:00 pm at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, IN with burial to follow in Hibernia Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 1:00-8:00 pm and again on Saturday beginning at 10:00 am.
