Ruby O. Moore, 85, of Charlestown, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Norton Hospice Pavilion.
She was born on June 1, 1927 to Richard and Mary (Arnold) Sharp in Louisville, KY. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a member of the International Poets Society, a published poet, and an avid reader. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughters, Judy Massey and Mary Ann Ball.
Survivors include her daughters, Bonnie Montelonga (Able) of Elizabethtown, KY, Brenda Preston of Elizabethtown, KY, Sue Defree of Elizabethtown, KY, and Joy Bethany (Robert) of Charlestown, IN; son, George Michael Brown of Louisville, KY; 16 Grandchildren, 31 Great-Grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 11am at The Church of Latter Day Saints in Charlestown, with burial to follow in the Highland Memory Gardens in
Mt. Washington, KY. Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm at the Grayson Funeral Home, and after 10am on Thursday at the church.
