Ruby (Logsdon) Blessett

Ruby Blessett, 82 of Charlestown passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Kindred Transitional Care in Sellersburg, IN.
Mrs. Blessett was born on March 26, 1930 in Charlestown the daughter of Joseph Richard and Maggie Ellen Logsdon. She was a seamstress for the former ICI in Charlestown. She was a member of the Charlestown V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary and the North Charlestown Church of God.
Survivors include her daughters, Betty Smith, Charlestown and Anna Sizemore(Seldon), Corydon, IN; sons, Ollis Blessett(Bernice), Elizabeth, IN, Joe Blessett(Barbara) and David Blessett both of Otisco; twenty-one grandchildren, forty-three great-grandchildren and eleven great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. and on Saturday after 9:00 A.M. until time of service.
