Ruby S. Bare

Mrs. Bare passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at Sellersburg Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born July 30, 1914 in Clark County, Indiana the daughter of Edgar and Bertha Tucker Smith, who preceeded her in death. She was also preceeded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Bare, October 24, 1988 and three brothers and one grandchild. She was a retired Nurse having worked at Clark County Hospital for many years and retiring from Greater Clark County Schools at Charlestown High School as the Schools Nurse in 1976. Survivors include four daughters, Pattie Kay (Paul) Lawhorn, Karen Foster, Joan Lauer and Barbara (Michael) Whitaker; one sister, Edith Couch; two brothers, Forrest (Jessie) Smith and Elmer Smith; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren
