Roscelia Ann (Purvis) Furman

Roscelia Ann Furman, 70 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Monday March 26, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on May 27, 1947 in Louisville, KY to Joseph and Bertha Mae Craig Purvis.  She was a former Hospice Nursing Assistant and a member of the American Legion Post 335 Auxiliary and the V.F.W. Post 1427 Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Dave Furman; son, Troy Filburn of Austin, IN; daughter, Melissa Jo Spencer of Sellersburg, IN; step-daughter, Tiffany L. Furman of Charlestown; sisters, Renee Gillahan of Shepherdsville, KY and Kay Purvis of Louisville, KY; grandchildren, Raquel Carlisle and Mady Furman; great grandson, Sawyer Carlisle.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12 pm to 2 pm on Friday.
