Rosalind Kay (Martin) Rhodes

Rosalind Kay Rhodes, 73, of New Albany, IN passed away on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany.  She was born on July 18, 1947 in Jeffersonville, IN to the late George M and Katherine (Kellis) Martin.  Rosalind was a visiting nurse for the Visiting Nurse Association and custodian for the Greater Clark County School System.

Rosalind is survived by her children; William T Rhodes of Indianapolis, IN, Clarissa Norman of Dover, Delaware and Suretta Miltenberger of Carmel, IN; her brother, Ronnie Martin of Jeffersonville, IN; sisters, Carolyn Sanford of Louisville, KY, Sylvia Burch, Kathleen Green and Terri Thornton of Jeffersonville, IN, Sammy Martin, Robbie Martin, Vanessa Martin, Angela Middleton and Suteria Martin all of Charlestown; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, William L Rhodes and her sister, Debra Sue Martin.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rosalind Kay Rhodes will be conducted on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN.  Visitation will begin on Friday from 11:00 am until the funeral hour of 1:00 pm also at the funeral home.
