Ronald Alan Pool

Ronald Alan Pool 72, of Charlestown, IN, passed away Sunday September 7, 2025, at his home in Charlestown.

He was born on February 22, 1953, in Jeffersonville, IN to Creighton and Mary (Elmore) Pool. He was retired from the Colegate Palmolive Company in Jeffersonville, IN, and a member of the New Song Christian Church in Scottsburg, Indiana, (formerly the Church at Nabb, in Nabb, IN), and a previous member of Restoration Christian Ministries, located in Sellersburg, Indiana. Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Creighton, his mother, Mary, and his older brother, Edwin Pool.

Survivors include his sons, Scott Alan Pool (Sara) of Scottsburg, IN, John Derrick Pool of Seattle, WA, Caleb Michael Pool (Dana) of Evansville, IN; daughters, Jennifer Ann Lowry (Jamie) of Scottsburg, IN, Sara Marie Chavarry (Jonathan) of Charlestown, IN; his sister Carol Short (Ronnie) of Memphis, IN; grandchildren, Riley Pool, Morgan Pool, Reese Lowry, Andrew Lowry, Sophia Chavarry, Clara Chavarry, Leia Chavarry, Nahum Chavarry, Abraham Chavarry, and Judah Chavarry.

Life Celebration Services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN, with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 8:00pm Monday, September 15, 2025, and again on Tuesday from 10:00am until the time of service.
