Ronald Lee Lathem, Sr.

Ronald Lee Lathem, Sr. 71 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020 at Norton’s Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Ronald was born on May 21, 1949 in Clark County, IN the son of Thomas S. and Rachel Vest Lathem. He formerly work at Ivy Tech State College in Sellersburg, IN. Ronald was a member of Pleasant View   Baptist Church which he loved being a part of, enjoyed fishing and in his younger years riding his motorcycle.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Ward Lathem; sons, Ronald Lathem, Jr. and Dutch Lathem both of Jeffersonville, IN; daughter, Kathy Heath of Charlestown, IN; sister, Barbara Risk and her husband Bill of Lexington, IN; grandchildren, Chelsea Lynn Lathem, Kristie Heath, Zachary Heath, Thomas Lathem and James Ross. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Larry Lathem in 2011.

Life Celebration services will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN with burial in Hibernia Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Thursday until the time services. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Ronald may take the form of donations to Ronald’s Family.
