Ronald Huston Bumbalough, 67 of Hanover, IN passed away on Monday July 17, 2017 at University of Louisville Hospital.
He was born on July 30, 1949 in McMinnville, TN to Hubert and Joan Roberts Bumbalough. He was a retired staff sergeant with the United State Army having served in Vietnam. He was also a former truck driver and a volunteer firefighter in Medulla, FL. He was a member of the House of Refuge Church in Nabb, IN and attended River Valley Community Church in Madison, IN and belonged to the Hanover VFW Post. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Bumbalough and son David Bumbalough.
He is survived by his daughters Kimberly Hoselton (Terry) of Hanover and Rebecca Trosper of Bartow, FL; brothers, Carl Bumbalough of McMinnville, TN and Dennis Calhoun of Bone Cave, TN; sister, Robin Briley of Smithville, TN; grandchildren, Terrance, Ross, Amber, Mykyll, Brianna, Caleb and Katrina; great grandchildren, Ashton, Amelia, Austin and Harlow; and his best friend Jerry Holt of Dayton, OH.
Funeral services will be 11 am on Friday July 21, 2017 in the chapel at the Indiana Veterans Cemetery in Madison, IN., with burial in the Indiana Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be at Grayson Funeral Home in Hanover from 4 pm to 8 pm on Thursday and after 10:30 am at the Indiana Veterans Cemetery.
