Roger Dale Jones

Roger Dale Jones 73 of Marysville, IN passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at his home.

He was born on April 8, 1951, in Scottsburg, IN to Harold and Mildred Welch Jones. Roger was a retired job superintendent for Wehr Constructors in Louisville, KY.  Roger enjoyed working with his hands building different things and just helping people, playing his guitar, cooking and baking, especially his “Roger Cookies” and spending time with his family.

Roger was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Ronald Jones, Bobby Jones, Dickey Jones, and Randy Jones.

Survivors include his wife, Sylvia McDaniel Jones, daughters, Shelly Williams (Rod) of Ransom Canyon, TX, Beth Bean (Scott) Richmond, KY, Amy Jones of New Washington, IN; sister, Margaret Cummings of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Brayden Williams, (Nichole), Lanie Williams, Dustin Bean, Grayson Bean and Kaydance Couch.

Life Celebration Services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery in New Washington.  Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday and after 9:00 am on Friday at the funeral home.
