Roger Michael Durbin

Roger Michael Durbin 68, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Monday February 21, 2022, at his home.

He was Born on October 8, 1953, in Guston, KY to William R. and Frances V. Reynolds Durbin who preceded him in death. He was a Navy Veteran and former forklift driver and maintenance man having retired from Airguard Industries in New Albany, IN.  Roger was a member of Main Cross Baptist Church in Charlestown, Sellersburg American Legion Post 204 where he was a member of the Honor Guard, the National Rifle Association and the Clark County Conservation Club.

Roger enjoyed hunting, playing cards, bingo, watching westerns, going to auctions and spending time with his family and his beloved dog Simon.

Survivors include his wife, Patti Whelan Durbin, daughters, Kimberly Jones (Will) of Jeffersonville, IN, Amanda Gelthaus (Tony) of Charlestown and Jessica Williams (Rocky) of New Washington, IN; brothers, Mo Durbin of Louisville, KY and Robin Durbin of Brandenburg, KY; sisters, Joan Bowman of Ekron, KY, Carol Jean Hurst of Ekron, KY and Ruby Bell of Vestavia, AL; grandchildren, Reece Colton Dixon, Connor Jones, Micah Williams, Kaitlyn Williams, Wesley Jones and Luke Gelthaus.

Life Celebration Memorial Services will be at 5:00 pm on Monday February 28, 2022, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown.  Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Monday.  Burial will be in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff, KY on Monday March 21, 2022 at 11:00 am..
