Roger Dale Adams

Roger Dale Adams, 72 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville, KY.

Mr. Adams was born on April 5, 1949 in Glasgow, KY the son of Elmer Lloyd and Floye Riley Adams. He was a Certified Public Account for 34 years, owner of B & O Liquors, founder of National Builders, and a member of St. John Paul II Catholic Church in Sellersburg, IN.  Mr. Adams loved road trips as far away as to Florida and overseas driving through Europe and as close as taking his grandchildren to school. He enjoyed many things during his life including watching western movies and Gunsmoke, cutting grass, was an avid Indiana University fan, and loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.

Survivors include his wife Susan O’Brien Adams; son, Jim Adams and  Sabrina of Charlestown, IN; daughter, Patricia Kelly Adams and Hope Huling of Charlestown, IN; sisters, Lynda and William Arnold Cash of New Albany, IN; grandchildren, Camila Adams, Juliana Adams and Ella Adams.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John Paul II Catholic Church in Sellersburg,  IN with burial in St. Joe Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12 Noon to 5:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN.  Expressions of sympathy in memory of Mr. Adams can take the form of donations to Charlestown Outreach Center at 240 Harrison Street Charlestown, IN 47111 or St John Paul II Catholic Church.
