Rogelia Mejia de Rodriguez, 74 of Charlestown passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany, IN.
Mrs. Rodriguez was born on September 8, 1941 in Zacatecas, Mexico the daughter of Magdaleno Mejia and Leonor Ledezma Mejia. She was member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Charlestown, IN.
Survivors include her husband, Jose Refugio Rodriguez Sandoval of Charlestown; daughters, Virginia Rodriguez (Manual Villalvazo), Maria Rodriguez (Carlos Davila), Martha Rodriguez (Armando Galindo), Angelica Rodriguez (Javier Perez), and Guadalupe Rodriguez (Hugo Alvarez); sons, Jose Israel Rodriguez (Lourdes Rodriguez), Juan Carlos Rodriguez (Maria Aguilar) and Jose Refugio Rodriguez Jr. (Jessica Rodriguez); twenty-five grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Monday, August 29, 2016 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown.
