Robert "Bob" Willey

Robert “Bob” Willey, 66 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at his home.

Bob was born on June 25, 1953 in Greenfield, IN the son of William P. and Lorena Morgan Willey. He retired from General Electric in Louisville after 20 years of service. Bob was a United States Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War and in his younger years was known as a avid horseman and enjoyed camping.

Bob is survived by his wife Debbie Willey of Charlestown; children, Dean Willey of North Carolina, Benjamin Willey and his wife Car'e of New Washington, IN, Linda VanHorn of New Albany, IN and Steven Cornell of Charlestown; sisters, Rose Willey of Georgia, Linda Shue of Charlottesville, IN and Kathy Donzell of Texas; brothers, Roy Willey and his wife Susan of Mt. Summit, IN, Jerry Willey and his wife Kelli of Middletown, IN and Charles Willey and his wife Sherri of West Virginia; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Whitney Cornell in 2005, brother Buddy Willey in 2018 and infant sister, Lillian.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington. Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday until the time of services. Expression of sympathy in memory of Bob may take the form of donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
