Robert Farrell Wade, 65 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at St. Catherine Regional Hospital in Charlestown.
Mr. Wade was born on December 21, 1948 in Jeffersonville, IN the son of Robert Preston and Euretta Baker Wade. He worked for thirty-seven years at Altec Aluminum Technologies in Jeffersonville, IN and was a U. S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and received a Bronze Star. He was a member of the Charlestown V. F. W. post 1427.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lozier Wade; step-sons, David E. Hollowell of Otisco, IN, Dennis E. Hollowell of Charlestown and Ronald L. Hollowell of Jeffersonville; step-daughters, Melissa K. Campbell of Sellersburg, Donna J. Snelling of Charlestown and Patty J. Mialback of Memphis, IN; sisters, Glenda Clark of Sellersburg and Carol Almonrode of Knoxville, TN ; twelve grandchildren .
Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 P.M., August 2, 2014 at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Charlestown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. Saturday until time of service.
