Robert D. Sparrow,66, of Charlestown, IN passed away Thursday, August 12, 2010 at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany.
He was born on March 28, 1944 in Louisville, KY to Willam and Mary West Sparrow who preceded him in death. He was a welder with Industrial Disposal and BFI for 30 years and enjoyed fishing Nascar and football.
He is survived by his wife Mary Rennie Sparrow of Charlestown, daughters, Michelle Cochran and husband Jerry, Marysville, Denise Carpenter and friend Lamar Brackens, New Albany, and Julie Carpenter, New Albany; Brothers: Albert Sparrow, Charlestown, Carl Sparrow, Otisco, Johnny Sparrow, Jeffersonville, and Doug Sparrow, New Albany; Sisters Katie Jones, Jeffersonville, and Mary Carlson, New Albany; and six grandchildren: Jerry, Jr, Kelsey, Autumn, Casper, Justus, and Xavier.
