Robert "Bob" Lindsey, 65, died Friday, December 26, 2008 at his residence.
He was born on July 14, 1943 in Louisville, KY the son of Martin Chester and Elizabeth Jane Minor Lindsey who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers John and David Lindsey. Mr. Lindsey worked as a Motel night Auditor and was a food and beverage Manager for several restaurants, hotel chains, country clubs, and the Derby Dinner Playhouse. He enjoyed golf, bowling, horse races, playing cards and was a movie buff. He was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife Jeannette Smith Lindsey, Hodgenville, KY; daughter Gina Wampler (Larry) Charlestown, IN; step-son Mark West (Kim), Shoals, IN; 2 step-daughters Marie Robertson (Chris), Hodgenville, KY and Karen Solsbury (Craig), Lanesville, IN, sisters Bonnie Fulkerson (Norman) San Antonio, TX, Carolyn Stivers, Marysville, TX and Donna Sash (Roy), Lexington, IN; 16 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
