Robert Lee Shepard 98, of Otisco, IN passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at the home of his daughter.

He was born on September 8, 1925, in Utica, Indiana to Henry W. and Sally E. Durham Shepard. Bob was an Army Veteran of World War II, a retired welder for Naval Ordnance in Louisville, KY, a member of the VFW Post 1427 in Charlestown, and a member of North Charlestown Church of God.  He enjoyed fishing and hunting, dancing, country music, and spending time with family and friends at his annual fall cookout.

He was preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children, Anna Shepard; his second, Marietta Shepard, and son, Dale Shepard.

Survivors include his daughters, Gloria Hartman (Rick) of Marysville, IN, and Faye Wiggam (Larry) of New Washington, IN; grandchildren, Tony Webb (Amber), Billy Webb (Susan), Crystal Webb, Neyland McClellan (Sandra), Tammy Shelton, Sheila Combs (Tracy) Bobby Dale Shepard (Carri) and Leslie Bowen. 19 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

Life Celebration Services will be at noon on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at North Charlestown Church of God with burial in Otisco Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 10:00 am on Tuesday at the church.
