Robert A. Howard

Robert A. Howard, 57 of Charlestown, IN passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2021, at his residence.

Robert was born on February 28, 1964, in Louisville, KY the son of Paul W. and Sara R. Otey Howard who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Paula Howard, and Patricia Lindley; grandchild, Sadie.

Robert worked in construction during his working years and enjoyed Harley Davidson Motorcycles. He was described by his family as a hunter, never met a stranger meaning strangers could be a new friend or a new enemy to change into a friend just by talking with them.

Survivors include his daughters, Lindsey Braswell of Jeffersonville, IN, Tiffany Wise of Charlestown, IN, and Kristina Wise of Lawrenceville, IL; son, Derek Gross of Ramsey, IN; sisters, Phyllis J. Carlton of Charlestown, IN and Pamela Resor(Mike) of Chapmansboro, TN; brothers, Randall S. Howard of Otisco, IN and Richard Howard of Mayfield, KY; companion for the past twenty years Tammy Wise; grandchildren, Jace, Marley, Renee, Kendrick, James, and Maggie; several other family members and friends.

Life Celebration Services will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 12 noon at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown, IN. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Friday until the time of services.
