Robert Lee Hammons

Robert Lee Hammons, 74 of Sellersburg, IN passed away on Thursday August 5, 2021, at Indian Creek Healthcare Center in Corydon, IN.

He was born on December 12, 1946, in Pittsburgh, Texas to Robert Charles and Margie LeGrand Hammons.  Robert was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and was a retired Supervisor for CSX Railroad.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Bobby Hammons and sister Fran Lawrence.

Survivors include his wife, Angela Dishon Hammons; son, Robert Allen Hammons and his wife Marci of Petoskey, MI; brothers, Steve Hammons of Houston, TX and Randy Hammons; sister, Thelma Reece of Otisco, IN; grandchildren, Mya and Emma Hammons.

Cremation was chosen and no services are planned.
