Robert Delano Glover

Robert Glover, 83, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2020 at his home. He was born on January 13, 1937 to Ned and Althea McCoy Glover in Stone, KY.  He was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company in Louisville and a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church where he taught Sunday School and was a member of the choir. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Glover; brother Bill Glover, sisters, Betty Glover and Diana Crawford; sister in law Yvonne Bowling (Troy) and niece, Jean Bowling. Robert is survived by his daughter, Dina (Larry) Schafer of Charlestown;  granddaughter, Makenzie (Jonathan) Roederer of Charlestown;  grandsons, Ethan Schafer and Trey Schafer both of Charlestown; great granddaughter, Hazel Louise Roederer; sister, Shirley Malenka of Pennsylvania; nieces Cindy Bowling of Charlestown, Cathy Schwartz of Charlestown; nephew, Mike Bowling (Aimee) of Charlestown and great niece, Brooke Bowling of Sellersburg, IN. Due to updated Federal, State and Local mandates concerning the Coronavirus, Robert's Funeral Service and Visitation will be Private. Burial will be in Charlestown Cemetery.
