Robert Earl Williams

Robert Earl Williams, 74, of Charlestown, IN, departed this life in the beginning days of January 2025.

Robert was born on July 11, 1950, to James Henry Williams and Pauline Elizabeth Melton Helbig.  He worked for the City of Charlestown Sanitation Department.  Robert was an animal lover and always had dogs.  His fur baby, Rose will greatly miss him.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his sister, Cordie Smith.

Robert is survived by his sister, Marie Chandler, of Hardinsburg, IN, his half-sisters, Wyona Haney and Sandy Cundiff both of Charlestown; his half-brother, Kenny Williams of Charlestown; and his stepmother, Pat Williams also of Charlestown; along with several nieces and nephews.

The Life Celebration Gathering will be on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the eulogy time at 4:00 p.m.
