Robert Eugene Clemons

Mr. Clemons died Thursday September 10, 2009 at his residence. Mr. Clemons was born September 17, 1936 to James Hubert Clemons and Rosie Lush in Greenwood, IN.

He served his country during the Vietnam War and later retired as Master Sergeant from the US Air Force. He was a diehard Yankees fan and enjoyed things such as golfing, fishing, and spending time with his grandkids.

Mr. Clemons was predeceased by his wife of forty eight years in June of 2008, Mary Ruth Clemons. He is survived by his step mother, Edith Clemons of New Washington, IN; sons, Roger Clemons and his wife Cristine of Wake Forest, NC, James Clemons of Newport, NC; a step son Robert Cook and wife Patricia of Seven Lakes, NC; a stepdaughter Pamela Green and husband Richard of Danville, VA; also 3 brothers, 5 sisters, 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Mark Clemons; his father James Hubert Clemons, 3 brothers and 1 sister.
