Robert Spencer Browne, 77, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital.
He was born on December 7, 1938 to Chester W. Browne, Sr., and the former Elnora Willey in Louisville, KY. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, retired mechanic for General Motors, farmer, and member of the Trinity United Presbyterian Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joyce Browne.
Survivors include his wife the former Vada Branson of Charlestown, IN; daughters, Kimberly Wahlstrom (Evan) of Franklin, IN, Karmen Gaskin (Tim) of Mooresville, IN, and Krystal Jimison (Robert) of Indianapolis, IN; brother, Chester W. Browne, Jr. (Jeanne) of Indianapolis, IN; 7 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 25, 2016 at 11am at the Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, with burial to follow in the Shelby Christian Church Cemetery in Versailles, IN. Visitation will begin on Sunday from 2pm to 5pm, and after 9am on Monday.
