In Memory Of
Riley C. Lovell Jr., 81 of Tampa, FL. and formerly of Clark Co., IN passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Tampa General Hospital.
Mr. Lovell was born on March 13, 1935 in Glasgow, KY. the son of Riley C. and Lera Woodcock Lovell. He was a retired Welder for the former Gulf Coast Lead Co. in Tampa for several years and formerly worked at Jeff Boat in Jeffersonville. Riley was known for his generosity, kind heart and was an avid fisherman and was a fan of the late Dale Earnhardt and enjoyed collecting his memorabilia.
Survivors include his daughter, Benita Clayson of Jeffersonville; son, Ray Lovell of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Harmony Clayson, Ryan Lovell and Steve Clayson; great-grandchildren, Maliyah, Brandon, Aiden and McKenzie; and a family friend Pat Eaton of Tampa, FL. Mr. Lovell was preceded in death by his parents, son, Jeffrey Scott Lovell and a brother, David Lovell.
Graveside services will held on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Bowery Cemetery in Memphis, IN. Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown is in charge of local arrangements.
