Ricky Lee Akemon

Ricky Lee Akemon 55, of Charlestown, IN passed away on Tuesday May 18, 2021 at his home.

Ricky was born on January 20, 1966 in Jeffersonville, IN to John and Pauline Hooper Akemon.  He was the owner of R & R Tree Service and was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, David “Butch” Akemon.

He is survived by his wife Carol D. Akemon; daughters, Jessica Akemon and Jennifer Akemon both of Charlestown; grandson, Ayden Akemon of Charlestown; sisters, Carol Smith of Commisky, IN, Bess Burgstrom and her husband John of Marysville, IN; and DeLynn Sizemore of Charlestown and her husband Ricky; brother-in-law, Christopher Clair of Charlestown and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen and no services are scheduled at this time.
