Richard Lasley, Sr., 61, of New Albany, IN, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Floyd Memorial Hospital.
He was born on October 2, 1952 to Ray and Nellie (Berry) Lasley in Louisville, KY. He was an electronics tech, a member of the Music Men Band, and he loved singing. He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, James Hack and Gary Lasley.
Survivors include his caregiver, Sharon Froedge of Clarksville, IN; daughters, Katrina Bryant of Bonnieville, KY, and Alicia Marie Smith of Louisville, KY; sons, Richard W. Laramore of Bonnieville, KY, and Richard W. Lasley of Louisville, KY; brother, Dennis Lasley of Cincinnati, OH; adopted granddaughter, Sierra Froedge; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 7pm at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Charlestown. Visitation will begin after 3pm on Tuesday at the church. Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown handling arrangements.
