Mr. Smith passed away Thursday December 20, 2007 at St. Catherine Regional Hospital. He was a native of Central City, Ky, a retired meat cutter for Kroger. He is preceded in death by his parents Richard Chester and Ida Mae (Newman) Smith. He is survived by his wife Paulette Corneal Smith, sons; Matthew Smith (Farah) of New Albany, Mark Smith (April) of Lexington, IN, Rick Smith (Kelly) of Charlestown, IN; brother; Wendell Smith of Bowling Green, KY; sisters; Marianna Lam of Bowling Green, KY and Margaret Askew of Bowling Green, KY. Grandchildren; Mitchel, Bryson, Connor, Lauren, Anna, and Courtney.
There will also be graveside services on Sunday December 23, 2007 at 3pm at the cemetery in Central City, KY.
