Richard Paul Howard

Richard Paul Howard 68 of Louisville, KY. passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.

He was born on June 4, 1956, in Henderson, KY, and grew up in Charlestown, IN to Paul and Sara Otey Howard.  Richard was a retired postal clerk for the Gardner Lane Post Office in Louisville, KY.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles, golfing, bowling, watching NASCAR, and supporting the University of Louisville Cardinals along with spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings.

Survivors include his children, Jennifer Morrison of Scottsburg, IN, Tasha Baskett (Chris) of Charlestown, IN, Richard Howard, II (Ann) of Charlestown, Terressa Johnson (James) of Jeffersonville, IN, Sara Hollins (Joe) of Jeffersonville and Lauren Brown (Denver) of Sellersburg, IN, brother, Randy Howard of Otisco, IN, sister Pam Resor of Murfreesboro, TN, 16 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Life Celebration Services will be at 4:00 pm on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown.  Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Thursday.
