Mr. Griffin died Saturday, August 9, 2008. He was a Truck Driver for Southern Aire Trucking a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Pleasant Ridge Church of God. He is survived by a son, Richard Lee Griffin and his wife Kristy; sister, Cathrine Chapman; five step-children, nineteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Thelma Daily Griffin and his wife Dottie Hooper.
