Richard L. Burke

He was born in Madison, IN to Helen Henry Burke and the late Carl Burke and died Saturday, December 25, 2010 at St. Catherine Regional Hospital surrounded by his family.

He was a retired Millwright where he worked for 28 years at Rapid Industries in Louisville, KY. He was an avid lover of American Saddlebred Horses which he raised, trained and showed for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years Susan Burke, daughter; Gina Reynolds( Kevin) of Greenville, IN, sons; Jeff Burke ( Donna) of Sellersburg, IN and Mike Burke ( Becky) of Jeffersonville, IN, mother; Helen Burke of Charlestown, brother; Jim Burke (Nancy) of Charlestown, IN and grandchildren; Karla, Kyle and Kade Reynolds, Justin, Renee, Hayden, Aaron, Stephanie, Jared, Lori, Kearstie and Noah Burke, and 19 nieces and nephews.
