Richard Thomas Bower, Sr

Richard Thomas Bower, Sr., 72 of Louisville and formerly of New Washington passed away Thursday September 13, 2012 at Norton’s Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, KY.
He was born on October 19, 1939 in St. Louis, Mo. His parents were Harry and Elizabeth Bower and he was a former mechanic.
Survivors include his companion, Jackie Mitchell of Louisville, sons; Richard T. Bower, Jr., of Jeffersonville, IN, Jim Bower of Louisville, KY, daughter; Lisbeth Banks of Jeffersonville, sister; Patsy Steele of New Washington, IN and six grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Monday September 17, 2012 at Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown with burial in Otisco Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday and after 9 a.m. on Monday.
