Richard Joseph "Joe" Armstrong

Mr. Armstrong was born on December 26, 1941 in Salem, IN, and passed away on Friday, Nov. 13, 2009 at Saint Catherine Regional Hospital.
He was the son of Bruce and Phyllis Stewart Armstrong. He was a retired employee from Ford Motor Company. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War, member of the American Legion Post 335 and Blazing Star Masonic Lodge # 226.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James "Jim" Armstrong.
He is survived by his wife the former Regina Campbell, son; Phillip Armstrong of Charlestown, daughter; Doris Armstrong (John) of Charlestown, brothers; David Armstrong (Betty) of Jeffersonville, Bruce Armstrong, Jr. ( Arlea) of Bumpass, VA., Bill Armstrong (Colleen) of Derry, NH., Tom Armstrong (Laura) of Warren, OH., Jerry Armstrong (Anita) of Charlestown, Sisters; Judy Kelley (Dan) Whitehouse, TX., Carol Crowe (Darryl) of Marysville, Saralee Boyd (John) of Easley, SC., grandson; Justin Armstrong (Shelia) of Charlestown, Granddaughter Destiny Armstrong of Charlestown and Great Grandson Cam'den (C.J.) Armstrong and several nieces and nephews.
